The Sacrament of Holy Unction (the Anointing of the Sick) is an act of healing through prayer conveyed on both the sick and the dying; the latter is classically called Extreme Unction. In this sacrament, the priest offers prayers and acts as a mediator of Christ's grace by laying on of hands and anointing with oil. This action is administered along with Holy Communion.
Our Healing Service in which Holy Unction and Holy Communion occurs is every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. However, during this time of rector transition, it is on haitus until further notice.
8:00 a.m.: Holy Eucharist
9:30 a.m.-10:15: Christian Formation (Sept-May)
10:30 a.m.: Holy Eucharist
3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.: Centering Prayer (Nave)
8:00 a.m.: Morning Prayer followed by Centering Prayer (with Holy Communion on Feast Days)
