ST. PAUL’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
E-Media & Literature Photo Opt-Out Form
Vestry approved: 11/18/13
Photos of people on our website and in our literature vividly share the life of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. To that end, St. Paul’s website () will begin DECEMBER 15, 2013 to include photos of the happy faces in our church in all the various parish-related activities and events that highlight the life of our vibrant community. All photographs on the website and in print format (e.g. pamphlets, flyers, etc) are governed by the photo policy below. However, we value your privacy and will therefore NEVER, unless with explicit consent run captions which identify individuals by name or other personal information such as contact data. This excludes staff and vestry members whose names will be included, unless requested otherwise.
If you do not want any pictures of yourself or a family member on the church website or in print, please COMPLETE the Opt-Out form ABOVE and click “SEND”or return it to the church office by December 15.
You may at any time have your name/family’s names added or removed to the E-Media & Literature Photo Opt-Out list. Simply contact the office at (704)289-8434 and your request will be addressed. All requests by minors (under age of 18) requires parental/guardian consent. Photos will never be shared or distributed to parishioners or outside parties. They are for the sole use of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Photo policy: While never identifying the subject of a photograph (see exclusion with consent and exception to staff/vestry above), St. Paul’s will take photographs of parish activities for the sole purpose of displaying them on the church’s website () and for reproduction in our print literature.
Participation in Parish activities implies permission to reproduce images on all St. Paul’s e-media and literature unless a signed E-Media & Literature Photo Opt-Out form is on file in the church office.
WHO MAINTAINS/MONITORS THE PHOTO OPT-OUT LIST: The master list will be overseen by Fr. Brad Smith and Charlotte Jenkins, members of the Website Guild. Reviewing all photos to be posted/reprinted, we will do our best at all times to be vigilant to parishioners’wishes. Please know that we can always instantly remove photos. Just notify either one of us and we will comply immediately.
