The Baptismal Covenant (BCP p.304)
Celebrant Will you continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the
breaking of bread, and in the prayers?
People I will, with God’s help.
In the Baptismal Covenant, we take vows to continue Holy Eucharist and daily prayers. We also take vows to continue in the apostles’ teachings. The study of these teachings is the basis of our Christian Formation program at St. Paul’s. Notice we use the term formation. This is intentional, as it alludes to the whole person; body and spirit, as well as mind. Our Christian Formation program provides sacred opportunity for all ages throughout the week to continue in the apostles’ teachings. Come be a part of the excitement as we explore greater depths of our rich Christian faith and tradition that have been handed down to us through the centuries by our loving foremothers and forefathers.
